Thanks to the advocacy of Sen. Mike Gabbard, sponsor of the Hawaii Media Literacy bill, that legislation will move to a Senate floor vote Tuesday. Sen. Gabbard pressed for action at the Senate Ways and Means Committee last week, and the bill passed that committee unanimously.
“I commend Senator Dela Cruz, the Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, for honoring my request and getting SB 2070, the media literacy bill, passed out of committee before last week’s deadline,” Gabbard said.
