Social Good startup seeks teachers for pilot to measure Media Literacy

A message from John Pettus, Founder and CEO of Fiskkit:

Fiskkit is a social good startup elevating our public discourse by allowing readers of online articles comment on individual sentences and tag them for facts and logic.

This fall, Fiskkit is piloting its critical thinking system in classrooms around the nation to help students between 7th grade and grad school practice critical thinking.

When a whole class annotates the same article, the system can statistically determine which tags are accurate.

For the first time, teachers can quantify the improvement in student critical thinking as they practice week to week.

Teachers interested in trying this new tool, for free, in their classrooms, should introduce themselves at: to receive a login password.
